The Training and Development specialist helps plan, conduct, and administer programs that train employees and improve their skills and knowledge.
The ideal candidate is a highly-motivated individual who has broad experience in designing learning solutions for various stakeholders within our organization (for both our current needs and longer term strategy), managing development programs and has a passion for continuous learning.
In this position, you also serve as a (technical) point-of-contact for our HR Information system supporting HR planning and operations. You will administer and maintain the organization’s HR information system (My Career) to ensure that it functions reliably and in accordance with user needs.
In this role you will report to the Global HR Director (located in the Netherlands).
Design, deliver and administer the organization’s training programs in accordance with the organization’s training and development plan, in close co-operation with Nedschroef Academy, to enhance the performance of individual employees and meet the current and future human resource needs of the business.
Leadership Development focuses on improving leadership and management capability including: Strategy and Competencies, Assessment, Development, Training and Succession planning.
Project management, planning, execution and maintenance of our HR Information System (My Career). Partner with internal and external team leads, and IT to ensure the HR system is thoughtfully planned, reflects the business needs of the company and is set up for success. Responsible for maintaining and optimizing the application and ensuring the accuracy of the HR data flowing in and out of the system.
Develops, manages, coordinates, and administers a variety of programs and activities such as:
Talent Strategy Programs: CDP (Corporate Development Program) and PDC (Personnel Development Committee) to meet long-term capability needs and to retain critical staff and develop those with high potential, Employee Experience to build an understanding of the physical and emotional motivators for Nedschroef workforce and create an Employee Experience Program to drive engagement and loyalty, periodical and ad hoc reports from My Career to provide analytics and insights regarding quantitative and qualitative HR developments, perform recruitment/onboarding activities so that the organization’s recruitment/onboarding process is efficient, effective and equitable.
Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline.
5+ years of relevant work experience.
Excellent understanding of HR processes (Core HR, Performance, Talent Management etc.).
Experienced with HR Information Systems.
Fluent in English.
Able to plan and execute projects in timely manner.
Analytical skills paired with systematic approach.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong sense of accountability and ownership.
