Operations Manager

For our Plant in Stara Zagora we are looking for highly motivated, experienced manufacturing leader to build and lead our manufacturing team. Being in the position of Manufacturing Operations Manager, you will be responsible for meeting the production forecast and ensuring company goals are achieved.
Your responsibilities
- Responsible for all operations, including production and maintenance with a view to optimizing efficiency
- Lead, coordinate and control all production activities in terms of quality, deadlines and technology
- Lead and develop a diverse team of shift leaders, technicians, and production staff
- Monitor production metrics and implement strategies to achieve production targets and KPIs
- Coordinate with supply chain management to ensure timely availability of materials
- Oversee equipment maintenance to ensure uninterrupted production
- Implement lean manufacturing principles, driving continuous improvement and operational excellence
- Ensure that our customers are supplied on schedule and in the correct quantities
- Ensuring the general and product-related quality objectives
- Responsibility for compliance with statutory regulations (EHS)
- Systematic personnel management and development
Your qualifications
- University degree in Engineering - Мaster's degree /mechanical or electrical profile/; Industrial management; Business Management, or related field
- 5+ years related manufacturing experience
- Leadership experience in a high volume manufacturing or industrial environment
- A strategic thinker with the ability to drive change and continuous improvement
- Experience with process improvement methodologies to optimize efficiency and throughput
- Proactive, self-starter with high level of persistence and can-do attitude
- Fluent Bulgarian and English, both written and spoken, German will be an advantage
